The Process…

STEP ONE:
Everyone starts here!

THE DISCOVERY CALL
It all begins with a complimentary call, a meet and greet! Whether you are looking for full-service design, a few hours of time or you don’t know where to start, the Discovery Call helps sort all that out.

STEP TWO:
Always after the Discovery Call.

THE INITIAL CONSULTATION
This is the first step to all the additional service options. We meet in your home to give me an opportunity to see your space. Together we will discuss your project, the challenges you are experiencing and the solutions you hope to achieve. Sometimes this initial consultation is all you need to get started! If your project requires additional design services, together, we will discuss which services best suit your project needs.

STEP THREE:
Select the service that is best for you!

SERVICES PACKAGES
I offer the following services to busy homeowners who are needing the help of an Interior Designer.
Based on your project needs, one of the three services I offer, will be recommended:
• Designer for the Day
• Designer by Your Side
• Full Service Design

 
 

Interior Design Services Packages

Designer for a Day

• One day only - 6 hour investment of time with a designer
• In your home, out shopping or a combination of both
• One room or multiple rooms targeted... whatever you need

At the end of the day, you will receive a customized package, emailed, to include:
• Any sketches or concept drawings and/or space plans developed
• Notes on all design ideas discussed with images, if applicable
• Shopping resources and/or suppliers and vendors recommended
• Budget strategies addressed
• Any colour recommendations provided
• Any finishing materials recommended
• All styling tips suggested

Still not sure? Let me help...

You might want to choose Designer for the Day if:
• You want to freshen up or redesign aspects of your home and need "the list"
• You have a long "to do list" and need guidance and advise on a variety of items from colour schemes to a couple hours shopping confidently on-line and anything in between
• You are renovating your kitchen or bathroom and need to spend a day picking out all the finishing materials
• You have guests coming and need to "blitz" the guest room
• You need your home decorated for the holidays, reunion or wedding

Designer by Your Side

• Purchase blocks of time and call on me for the design help you need, when you need it!
• 3 investments levels of time available, 10 hours, 20 hours or 30 hours
• Time blocks expire after 90 days

Ways you can use this service:
• You would like a professional to be available as a sounding board on aspects of your DIY project, renovation or new build
• You need sketches and/or design concepts drawn up that you can use when hiring contractors and/or trades
• You would like a second opinion before committing and purchasing lighting, furnishings or accessories
• You are acting as your own contractor or doing a DIY update and need help sourcing materials, fixtures and colour selections

You might want to choose Designer by Your Side if:
• You know what you want but need a little help along the way
• Not sure where to start and need a clear plan mapped out
• You need help but may not necessarily be looking for Full Design Service
• You would like the flexibility to tap into design knowledge and expertise as needed

Full Service Design

• Design involvement from "concept to completion"
• Project time investment: start at 65 + hours

What you can expect:
Developing the Concept:
• Collecting details on needs/wants, challenges/solutions, likes/dislikes
Design Development:
• Detailed drawings, to include floor plans, electrical plans and elevations
• 3D renderings
• Development of the scope of work
• Specification of all finishing materials and fixtures
Design Management
• Collaboration with the general contractor and his trades team and suppliers on all aspects of the project
• Consultation involvement at each stage of the execution of project
• Managing the integrity of the design

Is Full Service Design right for me?

• I've seen Helen Faustino Interior Design's portfolio and I would like that level of detailed design in my home
• I'm not interested in managing my design project, I prefer to trust the process and leave it to the professionals
• I would like to renovate or build a new home and need a trusted team of professionals to guide me through the process from concept to completion
• I am a busy home owner who doesn't have time to deal with all the details and decisions required; I just want it done!
• I want a home that is beautiful but more importantly, functional with quality finishes. I need someone to see the potential, create and manage the process to achieve the solutions
